Who this is for
Website visitors and users of the organizer application, scanner, tickets, and checkout.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, device identifiers, and pixels. They can remember a session, preserve a choice, prevent forged requests, and help a service operate securely.
What PET uses
The organizer application uses an essential session cookie to keep users signed in, enforce permissions, protect forms, and preserve security state. Public pages may use limited browser storage only when needed for a feature such as scanner state or a user preference. Server logs also record technical request information for reliability and security. These technologies are not used by PET to sell personal information or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Third-party technologies
Stripe Checkout and connected payment services, Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and embedded or linked third-party services may set their own cookies or receive device information when you choose to use them. Their notices govern those technologies. PET does not control cookies set after you leave PET for another service.
Choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, checkout, form submission, scanning, or other security-sensitive features. Because PET currently uses only essential first-party cookies, there is no separate nonessential-cookie opt-out banner. If analytics, advertising, or other nonessential cookies are introduced, this notice and any legally required consent controls will be updated before they are used.
